A word of explanation about what we (my research assistants and I) are doing with these posts. First, we are selecting upcoming oral arguments on topics we find significant. The blog will give you a short summary of what the case is about and the position of the parties. After the oral argument we will do a follow-up post on what seemed to be on the justices’ minds during the questioning. Those posts are called “What’s on Their Minds”. Finally, when the decision comes out, we will analyze it. The names of student contributors will appear at the end of posts they worked on.
