  1. What is most frustrating about this debate, and the Hunter/Williams controversy, is that historically there would have been no issue at all regarding right church wrong pew voters. For many years when such votes were identified the staff of the Board of Elections they would routinely have a bipartisan team “remake” such ballots so that they were counted in the correct precinct. It was no big deal. But that was in the days when Board of Elections did everything they could to see that votes were counted. And prior to the efforts by one party to make voting as complicated as possible, creating more opportunities to disqualify votes and making it more difficult to vote to begin with.
